"IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS NOTHING BUT ROCKS... THEN SOMEBODY INVENTED THE WHEEL... AND THINGS JUST BEGAN TO ROLL..." Baby, That is Rock & Roll, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller
Once upon a time, ready, steady, go, ladies and gentlemen, ah 1, 2, 3, 4, if I may have your attention please, introducing to you, it all began. You get the message. This is the start. This is the start of my blog S is for Something, AND in typical Chris Davy fashion it seems like I already have the dilemma of answering, shouldn't the first post be called 'S is for... Something', since the blog is called 'S is for Something'? But this is the first one, so surely it should be called 'S is for... Start' because, well it's the start, it makes more sense. Make a decision, bosh, decision made. S is for... Start.
I officially started at 03:11 on Saturday, 14th December, 1985. Just text the mother to check that info for definite, because you know, I wouldn't want to spout some absolute bullshit into the world now would I? Oh, no, wait, I'm writing a blog.

That means that at the time of writing this I am precisely 33 years, 2 months and 15 days, 16 hours and 13 minutes. Thank you www.myagecalculator.com.

So since my start, I've done a lot. I've also done a lot of not doing a lot, and now I want to do this. So I'm going to do it. I've really loved writing a points, and at others I've absolutely hated it. I've written poems, lyrics, music, songs, scripts, shopping lists, birthday cards, application forms, training plans, basketball practises, and my handwriting is still very touch and go. Good job writing a blog requires more typing than writing.
And BAM! Just like that, I've managed to write a little bit of something ; )
Who doesn't love a good quote?
"One ought to recognise that the present political chaos is connected with the decay of language, and that one can probably bring about some improvement by starting at the verbal end." - George Orwell, Politics and the English Language, 1946
