Ok, back to the real stuff. From a coaching perspective. You want to be good at something, you've GOT TO BE strong. FACT. Doesn't matter what it is you want to be good at. Physically you've got to be strong. Mentally you've got to be strong.

Define strength? Well, you know I love a good definition. But this is where it gets really interesting. Like the saying,

"One man's trash is another man's treasure."

Don't go all PC brigade on me. Man, woman, person, dog, cat, pumpkin. Stay with the programme.

So as far as I'm concerned.

"One man's strength is another man's weakness."

So, it doesn't really matter what your definition of strong is. It's all about context.

So the trick is, define your context. Define your arena. Define your situation. Then we can start discussing if someone is strong or not.

Who doesn't love a good quote?

"The resistance that you fight physically in the gym and the resistance that you fight in life can only build a strong character. " - Arnold Schwarzenegger

Songs to listen to now:

I Don't Know My Own Strength - Whitney Houston

Strong Enough - Cher

Stronger - Kanye West

Stronger - Kelly Clarkson

(Something Inside) So Strong - Labi Siffre

Strong - Robbie Williams
